An independent directory for barbering, and only barbering
We list the courses. You contact the school. Nothing sits in between.
Why this exists
Deciding to train as a barber is easy. Finding out where to actually do it is not. Course information sits scattered across college prospectuses, academy websites, Instagram pages and word of mouth, and almost none of it is comparable side by side. If you live somewhere without an obvious local option, it gets harder still.
BarberCourses.com pulls that together in one place. Every course is filed by country and city, so you can see what genuinely exists near you rather than scrolling a national list hoping something is within reach. Where we can, courses are tagged by level, so you can narrow to the kind of training you actually need before you start reading.
What we list, and what we do not
A directory is only as trustworthy as the things it refuses to include. We recently removed several hundred listings that were beauty, nails, lash and makeup providers rather than barbering schools. It reduced our numbers considerably. It was still the right call.
Listed here
- Men’s cutting and clipper work
- Fades, tapers and line work
- Beard work and razor shaving
- College diplomas and certificates
- Private academy courses
- Apprenticeships and workshops
Not listed here
- Makeup and cosmetics training
- Nail and lash courses
- Beauty therapy and spa
- Threading and waxing
- General fashion and styling
- Anything that is not barbering
How we make money
Schools can pay for premium placement, which pins their listing above the standard ones on their country and city pages. That is it. We take no commission on enrolments, we do not sell your details, and we are not an agency working on behalf of any school.
Premium listings are clearly marked and capped at three per page, so a paid slot never buries the free ones. Every listing, paid or not, shows the school’s own phone number, email and website in full, because the point is that you contact them, not us.
Where the information comes from
Listings are compiled from publicly available information about schools, colleges and academies around the world. That means some entries are thinner than others, and some details will be out of date.
Any school can claim its own listing free of charge and take control of the description, contact details, course levels and photos. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
