Argentina

Argentina has a large barbering scene served entirely by private academies. BarberCourses.com lists 3 providers here, two in Buenos Aires and one in Mar del Plata.Everything here is privately certifiedNone of the three claims registration with the national or a provincial education ministry, and all three issue their own certificates. Read the marketing carefully: one institute awards what it calls an official diploma and registration, but that register is its own rather than a state one, and the same site claims to be the only barbering institute in the country, which the two providers listed alongside it disprove. None of that means the teaching is poor. It does mean you should judge on class size, campus location and price rather than on implied official standing.Practical differencesThe three are genuinely distinct. One runs five campuses across the capital and its metropolitan area and offers a free trial class before you commit, worth taking. One has the widest national footprint, with branches in Buenos Aires province plus Rosario, Salta and San Luis, and publishes a price band of roughly 20,000 to 100,000 pesos depending on format, across three-week, one-month and two-month options. The third, in Mar del Plata, issues student credentials and runs an online certificate validation tool so employers can verify a graduate’s certificate, a small thing, but very few academies at this level bother.
