Uganda
BarberCourses.com lists 2 providers in Uganda, both in Kampala. What is on offerOne publishes the clearest price list of any East African provider in this directory: hair cutting and barbing at two months for 500,000 shillings, sitting within a fully costed catalogue running from four-week short courses at 350,000 up to two-year diplomas at 650,000 a semester, with the barbering module included in the longer programmes. The other runs a more flexible three-to-six-month course with study routes as a two-year certificate, a one-year certificate or short courses, and sessions available mornings, afternoons, full days, weekends or online, few providers anywhere accommodate that many patterns. Its application fee is 15 dollars for Ugandans and 40 for non-Ugandans, but tuition itself is unpublished, described only as affordable, which is not enough to plan around. The credential pictureUganda’s national credentials are DIT assessment and UBTEB accreditation, and neither provider states either, both issue their own certificates.A note on this listTwo entries were removed. One school’s own domain no longer resolves and no barbering provision could be verified anywhere. The other is a real, operating adult school, but its cosmetology department lists only a hairdressing course, with no barbering or men’s cutting anywhere in its catalogue.
