Academia Daniel Matallín

Academia Daniel Matallín is a long-established Valencian training company, and it occupies an unusual position among the Spanish entries here: the same company is an authorised private Formación Profesional centre, registered under centre code 46028089, delivering the FP Grado Medio in Peluquería y Cosmética Capilar. That is a genuine state qualification.

The barbering course itself, however, is a separate private programme rather than part of that FP provision, so the award is the academy’s own diploma. It runs three months in person in Valencia. The syllabus covers the history of barbering, tools and materials, client reception, classic and old-school cutting, fades, advanced cutting technique, styling, comb, scissor, razor and clipper work, scalp and hair cleansing, beard washing, beard and moustache grooming, the traditional shaving ritual, capillary cosmetics, and a business block covering administration, marketing and social media. Shorter companion courses in barbering colour and in beard work alone are also offered. Prices are not published; the company operates from several sites across Valencia, Gandia and Alzira, so confirm which one teaches the barbering course.
