Academia La Barbieria, Mar del Plata

A location correction worth making: La Barbieria teaches in Mar del Plata, not the city of Buenos Aires as older directory data recorded. Its own course page offers Mar del Plata as the only location, and its public presence is entirely local to the city.

The academy runs as a combined training operation and salon and also franchises its model. Two features on its site are unusual and worth noting, because they suggest a reasonably formal operation: it issues student credentials, and it provides an online certificate validation tool, so a graduate’s certificate can be checked by an employer rather than simply taken on trust. Very few academies at this level bother with that.

Beyond those, published detail is limited. Course names, durations, module content and prices are not visible without going through the academy’s enquiry process, and no provincial or national education ministry registration is claimed, so the certificate should be understood as the academy’s own.
