Academia Omnitechnical – Técnico Profesional en Barbería, Viña del Mar

A location correction first: this academy is in Viña del Mar, not Santiago as older directory data recorded. It has taught there since 2003 from premises on 4 Oriente, and its barbering provision is a technician-level programme rather than a short course.

Técnico Profesional en Barbería is offered as a four-month initial programme or a six-month advanced one, extensible by a month or two depending on how quickly you progress. A sensible approach that most schools do not offer. Timetables are flexible across the week including weekends. Certification requires passing both theory and practical examinations and maintaining at least 90 per cent attendance, which is a stricter bar than most.

The academy’s wider catalogue covers hairdressing, aesthetics, beauty, manicure, podiatry, aromatherapy and massage. On credentials: no SENCE accreditation or OTEC status is claimed anywhere, so this is an in-house certificate. Its references to internationally recognised teaching methods are claims about pedagogy rather than accreditation. Prices are not published.
