ADACE Académie – CAP Coiffeur Homme Barbier, Tunis
ADACE runs a full one-year CAP Coiffeur Homme Barbier from El Menzah 9 in Tunis, a named men’s barbering qualification rather than a general coiffure course with men’s work folded in, which makes it unusual across North Africa.
The year includes 60 days of placement, split between the school’s own salon and professional barbershops. Practical content covers cutting, styling and barbering technique, colouring, highlights, keratin treatments, men’s hair care with steam treatments, shampooing and blow-drying, plus basic aesthetics including hand care, facials and hair removal. Theory covers equipment technology, hygiene, scalp and hair science, colour theory and barbershop management. Teaching is in French, Arabic and English.
Timetabling is generous: day and evening classes, open daily, with all-day Saturday and Sunday-morning sessions. The school states it is agréée par l’État with a homologated diploma, which if correct makes this a real CAP, though the claim is the school’s own and no ministry register entry could be confirmed, so ask for the approval reference. Fees are not published.
