Akin is a well-regarded Dubai barbershop in the Trade Centre area, with a second branch at One Central, and its education arm publishes three courses with prices in full, rare clarity for this market.

The Advanced Cutting Course runs three days at 3,600 dirhams and the Advanced Beard and Shaving Course two days at 2,400, both pitched at intermediate to advanced level for working barbers and hairdressers refining existing skills. The Apprentice Accelerator runs three days at 3,600 and is the beginner-to-intermediate route, framed as an intensive career launch.

Graduates receive an official certificate of achievement from the shop. One thing to be clear about: no KHDA permit is mentioned anywhere, and KHDA licensing is what distinguishes a regulated Dubai training institute from a barbershop running courses. That does not diminish the teaching, Akin is a serious shop and these are short professional courses, but it is not accredited training, and you should not expect it to be treated as such.
