Apex Skills Academy – Professional Barber Training, Kathmandu

Apex Skills Academy runs professional barber training from two Kathmandu campuses, at Chabahil and New Baneshwor, and it is the only Nepali provider here publishing a complete price and syllabus.

The course runs one and a half months across 10 to 15 lessons at a flat 15,000 rupees, stated to include materials, equipment, assessment and the certificate, with a two-instalment option. The syllabus is genuinely detailed for the money: tool handling and sterilisation, scissor-over-comb, clipper cuts, fades, tapers and blending, skin fades, undercuts, textured crops, straight-razor shaving with hot-towel preparation, beard shaping, hair colouring basics, salon hygiene, client consultation and barbershop business operations. Free two-day trial classes are offered.

One caution on credentials. The academy states it is CTEVT-affiliated but publishes no registration number anywhere. CTEVT affiliation is the meaningful Nepali credential, so ask for the number rather than taking the claim on trust.
