Arkansas College of Barbering and Hair Design

Arkansas College of Barbering and Hair Design is a private career school in the Little Rock area offering diploma programs in barbering and cosmetology at one campus. The Hair Design and Barber program runs 1,500 clock hours and prepares students to sit for the licensing examination administered by the Arkansas State Board of Barber Examiners. A separate 1,500-hour cosmetology program prepares graduates for licensure through the Arkansas Department of Health, Cosmetology Section. Both are scheduled full time on either a day or an evening track.

The school also lists 600-hour manicuring, esthetics and teacher training programs, plus a teacher and manager course for students who already hold an active barber license.
