Baranda Barbers Academy

Baranda Barbers is the barbering arm of Escuela Baranda, a Madrid beauty school operating since 1985, and the two share a phone number and contact address. Its combined hairdressing and barbering course runs six to nine months, Tuesday to Friday, across three daily shifts: 09:00 to 12:00, 12:20 to 15:20 and 16:00 to 19:00.

The advertised price is from 200 euros a month, with the parent school listing its equivalent Caballero Barbería course at 190 euros a month over six or nine months; promotions waiving the enrolment fee have been run. A separate perfeccionamiento course is offered for people already trained. Two caveats worth stating plainly. Neither site names any qualification, awarding body or accreditation anywhere, so assume the award is the school’s own certificate at best. And the two sites disagree on the street address, with the postcode printed on the barbering site appearing not to match the square it names, so confirm the teaching location before you travel.
