BarberSkills, Vilnius
BarberSkills teaches from Pylimo in central Vilnius and runs four routes at published prices. The basic course is 50 hours at 1,800 euros; an intensive runs 80 hours at 2,600 euros in groups of three to five; a one-to-one course runs 80 hours at 3,000 euros on a flexible schedule; and a single upskilling session of three to four hours runs at 200 euros for barbers already working.
More than 70 per cent of contact time is hands-on work with models, groups are capped at around three, and sessions run mornings, daytime or evenings from Monday to Friday. Teaching is in Lithuanian, Russian and English, and job placement help is offered. The instructors are named, with the lead mentor trained at Vidal Sassoon and Menspire. Assessment is a practical examination plus a written capability assessment and a portfolio, leading to the academy’s own certificate. Two notes: the school’s Lithuanian and English pages disagree on the intensive course length, quoting 80 and 60 hours respectively, and the old barberskills.lt domain no longer resolves. The working site is the one linked here.
One point applies across all five Lithuanian providers here: none of them appears in the state register of vocational training programmes, and none is funded through the employment service. Every certificate in this market is the academy’s own. That is not unusual for barbering in Lithuania, the trade is entered through private training and shop-floor experience, but it does mean you should judge these on the teaching and the price rather than on any implied official standing.
