Barbertanfolyam.hu, Budapest
This is the best-credentialled barbering provider in Hungary. It holds both an adult-training registration number, B/2021/002530, and a full training licence, E/2024/000015, and its advanced course is built on programme requirement 10125001, the genuine Hungarian state programme for the barber and hairdresser chemical specialist qualification. That is a real regulated route rather than marketing language.
Basic barber courses come in four lengths, priced transparently: one month covering cutting at 99,990 forint; two months adding shaving at 199,990; three months adding beard work at 299,990; and five months covering the full curriculum including chemical treatments at 499,990. The advanced qualification course runs six months, one day a week, at 649,990 forint or around 113,000 a month. A registration deposit of 15,000 forint applies. Classes run Saturday afternoons in Budapest and Sunday daytimes in Szolnok, with further venues in Gödöllő and Pécel. Tools are provided and no secondary school diploma is needed for the basic courses. Graduates of the advanced route can take a hard-cover state certificate through an independent accredited examination centre, which confers the right to start a business. The practical difference that matters most.
On Hungarian credentials: adult-training institutions must hold a felnőttképzési nyilvántartási szám, and the strongest providers also hold a full engedély letting them deliver programmes towards a state szakképesítő examination. A registration number covers the institution, not necessarily the individual course. Ask specifically whether the barbering course you are buying leads to a state qualification or to the school’s own oklevél.
