Barbier Académie
Barbier Académie is a Qualiopi-certified training centre on Rue Saint-Honoré in the first arrondissement of Paris, founded by a collective of master barbers and hairdressers. Qualiopi is the certification that makes a French provider eligible for public and employer funding, so it is the credential worth having; the academy also states France Travail and OPCO approval.
Eight modules run on three axes. The trade modules cover introduction to beard trimming and shaving, cutting and scissor work, the American fade and taper fade, and premium barbering rituals and treatments. Business modules cover opening a barbershop or salon, taught around five themes spanning commerce, management, core trade, digital communication and leadership, plus ongoing business mentoring. Two digital modules cover visibility and digital strategy. Verified pricing for the premium rituals module is 800 euros a day one-to-one or 600 euros a day in a group, with a three-day package at 1,500 euros, capped at five to eight participants and taught entirely on live models. The teaching pattern is theory in the morning, practical in the afternoon. Two caveats: courses are scheduled on demand after registration rather than to a published calendar, and while one page claims CPF eligibility the academy’s own FAQ lists only employer plans, France Travail and self-funding, so confirm CPF directly if you are relying on it.
