Barbierschool – Barbier Allround (Centrum voor Avondonderwijs)
Barbierschool teaches across five Flemish campuses, Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and Hasselt, and runs an evening and morning schedule built around people who already have jobs. One thing to know upfront: barbierschool.be is a single-topic brand domain of Centrum voor Avondonderwijs, a private non-profit, and the identical course is sold under that name too, so do not book twice by mistake.
The Barbier Allround programme is 20 lessons of three hours, bundling two modules: five lessons on beard shaving and shaping, and fifteen on men’s cutting and styling. The price is 1,339 euros, or from around 272 euros a month over five instalments, and the two modules can also be bought separately at roughly 385 and 990 euros. Content covers beard and moustache shaping, straight-razor shaving, men’s cutting and styling including the pompadour and French crop, product knowledge, and adapting to face shape and hair structure. Each module ends in an exam with a 60 per cent pass mark and unlimited retakes. Starts run from late September through the following year. The award is the school’s own diploma. It is not part of the Syntra network, so treat any “recognised” wording accordingly.
