BBLUNT Academy – Men's Barbering Course

BBLUNT Academy runs a dedicated Men’s Barbering Course from its training rooms on S.V. Road in Andheri West, Mumbai. It is a short, intensive programme rather than a foundation qualification: one week, three days a week, running from 10am to 6pm, and entry requires at least one year of qualified industry experience as a hair professional. It is designed for stylists adding barbering to an existing skill set, not for beginners.

The syllabus starts with the history of barbering and an introduction to the equipment, then moves through buzzer technique, fades and skin fades, detailing clipper work around the hairline, texturising, and open and feather razor work, with hands-on practice on models. Graduates receive a BBLUNT Certificate of Participation. India has no national barbering register, and BBLUNT claims no affiliation with the Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council, NSDC or the NSQF. The certificate is an in-house one. Fees are not published, and the academy states they are inclusive of taxes with no processing charge.
