Beauty Recipe – Barbering & Wet Shave Course, Singapore

Beauty Recipe runs three short barbering products from its Singapore academy, all with published prices and small class sizes of four to five participants.

The Barbering and Wet Shave course runs two days, Monday 9am to 6pm and Tuesday 10am to 4pm, at 1,899 dollars including a student kit valued at 300. A standalone Wet Shave course runs two days from 10am to 5pm at 899 dollars, and a Master Class Barber Workshop runs the same format at the same price. All include 120 days of online video support after completion, which is a genuinely useful addition for technique you are still practising.

On credentials, be precise. The academy describes itself as a government-approved training provider whose courses could be subsidised through SkillsFuture Credit, but the barbering course carries a certificate of completion issued through a UK partner academy rather than a WSQ qualification. Tellingly, the same school explicitly labels another of its courses as non-WSQ, so it flags WSQ status where it exists, and this course does not carry that label. Ask before assuming funding applies.
