Beyond Expectations Barber College

Beyond Expectations Barber College is a barber school based on Romig Road in Akron, Ohio, with a second location on Glenwood Avenue in Youngstown. It is listed by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as institutionally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, and school directories record its barbering program as approved by the relevant state board.

Training is directed at preparing students for the Ohio state barbering licence examination and at the business side of working in the trade. Applicants must be at least 17 years old and may apply online or in person, after which the college contacts them to arrange an orientation visit. The attached student clinic operates Tuesday to Saturday. No total program hour count is published, so confirm that directly with the college.
