Captain Barbershop Academy, Jakarta
Captain Barbershop Academy teaches from Pasar Baru in Central Jakarta and publishes a fully specified schedule alongside three price tiers, unusual clarity for this market.
The barberman programme runs 17 sessions at five sessions a week, six hours a day, so roughly three to four weeks of full-time study. Three packages are offered: Silver at 6,500,000 rupiah, Gold at 7,500,000 and Platinum at 10,000,000. The academy advertises a job-readiness guarantee on completion.
Two claims to read carefully. It describes the programme as meeting international standards and offers a guarantee that you will be able to do the work, both are marketing rather than verifiable credentials. No LKP registration with the education ministry and no BNSP competency certification appears anywhere, so the certificate is in-house. In Indonesia, BNSP certification is the thing that carries weight with larger employers, so ask about it if that matters to you.
