Celebrity School of Beauty – Barber

Celebrity School of Beauty is a Florida beauty school whose Barber program runs 1,200 clock hours and can be completed in as few as eight and a half months depending on the schedule chosen. Classes are held at the Hialeah campus on West 12th Avenue and the Miami campus on Southwest 79th Avenue, with morning sections Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and evening sections Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Instruction is offered in English and Spanish.

The curriculum covers hair cutting and grooming, chemical services, shaves and facial hair design, and barbershop business management, and is designed to prepare graduates to pursue barber licensure in Florida. The school is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and licensed by the Florida Department of Education’s Commission for Independent Education. Students take part in an annual Barber Battle competition.
