Chellsey Institute of Beauty & Health

Chellsey Institute of Beauty and Health operates on City Centre Drive in Mississauga, and is registered as an Ontario career college under the Career Colleges Act, appearing on the Ministry of Colleges and Universities career college lists. Most of its offering is aesthetics, with diplomas in advanced aesthetics, medical aesthetician, medical spa therapist, laser technician and skin care therapy, alongside a hairstyling diploma and short certificates in manicure, pedicure, waxing, makeup artistry, body massage and spa therapy.

Barbering is taught through a Hairstyling and Barbering Certificate at the Mississauga campus, running 48 hours over six weeks, two days a week and four hours a day. Content covers fade techniques, line-ups, beard grooming, razor and scissor work, blending, texture management and adapting techniques to longer hair. Applicants need Grade 12 or mature student status, an entrance evaluation and an admissions interview.
