Crazy Monkey Barber School, Chișinău

Crazy Monkey runs its barber school as a distinct operation from its two Chișinău barbershops, with its own separate identity and enrolment channel. Three courses are published with clear prices, which is more than most of the Moldovan market manages.

From Scratch runs one month, three to four days a week, at 800 euros, and includes a week of free practice afterwards, a sensible bridge between finishing a course and being fast enough to work a chair. An individual version of the same course runs one month at 1,200 euros one-to-one. An advanced individual course for barbers already working runs two weeks at 500 euros. The syllabus covers scissor cutting, clipper cutting, beard styling, straight-razor shaving and advanced cutting technique.

No certificate, licence, ANACEC accreditation or ministry recognition is claimed anywhere, which in Moldova is the norm rather than a warning sign, but you should know it before you pay. Enquiries go through a web form; the school page publishes no phone.
