Creative Edge Training – Certificate III Barbering

Creative Edge Training is a registered training organisation, RTO 1685, delivering hairdressing and barbering qualifications across South East Queensland. Training is offered at academies at Reedy Creek on the Gold Coast and at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, and at a trade college site at Scarborough in northern Brisbane. Alongside SHB30516 Certificate III in Barbering, the provider lists Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate II in Salon Assistant, pre-employment programs and short courses.

RTO 1685 appears on the Queensland Government Skills Gateway as an approved provider of SHB30516. The barbering program is available full time over about ten months at four days per week, part time over about 13 months at three days per week, or as an apprenticeship of up to three years full time. There are no specified entry requirements. Content covers grooming, precision cutting, clipper work including tracks and carving, head and face shaving, and colouring.
