CutU School

CutU School teaches barbering from Grzybowska street in central Warsaw, with a second venue in Katowice. Its motto, we teach you to think, not to repeat, reflects a curriculum organised around short specialist modules rather than one long programme.

The top-up price list is published in full: Skills Up over ten days at 7,000 zł; Salon Simulate over five days at 5,000 zł; Fade Game at 3,000 zł for three days or 1,500 zł for one; Beard and Razor over two days at 2,000 zł; three-day courses in long hair and in hair care at prices on request; and a one-day course in threading, waxing and fire singeing at 700 zł. Groups run at four to seven students across two daily shifts, with a certificate for each module. Beginner course pricing is not published. Two things to weigh: the school advertises delivery across seven Polish cities but publishes addresses for only two, and it publishes no company name or tax number, so it is a small operation issuing its own certificates with no RIS registration.

On credentials in Poland: barbering is not a regulated profession, so almost every academy issues its own certificate. Two things do carry weight, entry in the Rejestr Instytucji Szkoleniowych (RIS), which opens up publicly funded routes through Urząd Pracy, KFS and BUR, and registration as a Niepubliczna Placówka Kształcenia Ustawicznego. Be sceptical of ISO numbers presented as accreditation: ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 are management-system certifications bought privately, not educational credentials.
