Dyron Barber 507 Academy, Panama City

Dyron Barber 507 runs from two Panama City sites, on Vía España near Supermercado El Rey, and at Plaza Altos de Panamá in Condado del Rey, and is the only barbering academy in the country that publishes a dated intake, a price and a class size.

The programme is in-person only, taught at weekends on either Saturdays or Sundays, which makes it workable alongside a job. The price starts at 390 US dollars with payment plans available, a 100 dollar deposit reserving a place and the balance due before completion. Cohorts are capped at fifteen. Teaching is organised in three modules: fundamentals, technical development, and professionalisation and economic projection, that last covering the business side, which many courses at this price omit entirely.

Professional tools are provided during training and a certificate is issued on completion. No INADEH or education ministry accreditation is claimed, so the award is the academy’s own. The business also operates as a working barbershop and states eighteen years of experience.
