Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College
West London College groups its hair provision under a Hairdressing and Barbering department at the Hammersmith and Fulham campus on Gliddon Road, which has an on-site training salon among its facilities.
Barbering is offered as a Level 2 course aimed at adult learners aged 19 and over, with a November start date rather than the usual September intake. Alongside it the college runs hairdressing at Levels 1, 2 and 3, a Level 1 Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy course for both 16- to 18-year-olds and adults, and Step Up to Hair and Beauty at Level 1 for those who need a preparatory route before a full qualification. Learners are required to buy their own kit and uniform in order to meet awarding body requirements.
