Eminence Barber Academy

Eminence Barber Academy is a barbering school with campuses in Riverside and Upland, California. The Riverside location is on Indiana Avenue. The academy offers a 1,000-hour barbering program that prepares students for the licensing examination administered by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, which the school describes as intended to accommodate both working and non-working students.

Instruction covers technical barbering skills along with business fundamentals and the history of the trade. The academy is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Catalogs, performance fact sheets, grievance forms and other required disclosures are published on the site. A student clinic provides reduced-price services to the public, and the school hosts community events during the year.
