Envi Academy – Barbering & Men’s Hairdressing

Envi Academy is the training arm of the Envi salon group, which currently operates fifteen salons across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Its Barbering and Men’s Hairdressing course sits within a hair programme of roughly fourteen courses, alongside separate streams in skin, nails, hands and feet, and make-up. The course runs six days.

Teaching begins with foundation work on parting, sectioning and understanding shape, then moves through the cutting techniques the course is built around: fades, clipper cutting, vertical layers and the undercut. Client consultation and face-shape analysis are covered, along with styling work including the pompadour, scissor-over-comb and texturising, and product knowledge for men’s styling. Fees are not published. No awarding body, accreditation or skill-council affiliation is named anywhere on the academy’s pages, so the certificate issued is an in-house one, worth confirming directly if a recognised credential matters to you.
