Escuela Ma-pa – Barbería y Estética Masculina

Escuela Ma-pa is a multi-campus Uruguayan trade school on a .edu.uy domain, with its main site on Colonia in Montevideo plus campuses at Tres Cruces, El Pinar, La Palmita and Paysandú. Its barbering course is the best-scheduled in the country: cohorts are published in advance and run several times a year.

The course runs four months and 64 hours, paid in four monthly instalments of 5,300 pesos with no matriculation fee and no contract, with a small deposit reserving a place. Three groups run, Wednesday mornings, Monday afternoons and Monday evenings, which covers most working patterns. Content takes in an introduction to barbering, current cutting trends, tool recognition and use, fade technique, classic scissor cutting, shaving, beard fading and profiling, and eyebrow aesthetics, taught as theory plus demonstration plus hands-on practice.
