Faculdade Eleven – Curso de Barbeiro Profissional

Faculdade Eleven runs a Curso de Barbeiro Profissional of 140 hours over roughly four months, taught twice a week. Despite the “Faculdade” branding this is a curso livre rather than a MEC-recognised programme, which is normal for barbering in Brazil. The trade is unlicensed, so reputation and course content matter more than accreditation. The course is offered in three formats: in person in Curitiba, online through the institution’s own ElevenFlix platform, and as one-to-one VIP tuition.

The syllabus covers design de barba, arquitetura do corte masculino, penteado e finalização, coloração capilar and tonalização de barba, alongside empreendedorismo and plano de negócio, ethics, biosecurity and professional conduct. Teaching is described as fully practical, working on real models. The advertised price at the time of checking was R$240 reduced from R$590, payable in up to ten instalments. Note one correction worth knowing: the school is based in Curitiba, not São Paulo, with additional polos in Altamira, Laranjeiras do Sul, Montes Claros, Santa Maria, Quedas do Iguaçu and União da Vitória.
