Fran Capelli Academy

Fran Capelli Academy is a registered training organisation, RTO 6055, with a campus in Hawthorn in inner-eastern Melbourne. Its website lists SHB30516 Certificate III in Barbering in two forms: an apprenticeship pathway combining paid salon employment with formal training, and a non-apprenticeship pathway for students not employed under a training contract. The same two options are listed for Certificate III in Hairdressing.

Alongside Hawthorn, the academy lists campuses at Coolaroo, Mawson Lakes in Adelaide, Canberra, and Mandurah and Perth in Western Australia. Its scope is not limited to hair; Certificate IV and Diploma of Building and Construction are also delivered. The academy’s original web address now redirects to a new domain, and it still advertises the superseded SHB30516 code, so prospective students should confirm current barbering intakes and campus availability directly.
