Hellenic Unique Hair Academy – Berberi, Tirana
HUHA runs a genuinely separate barbering course rather than folding men’s work into its hairdressing programme, worth knowing, because this listing previously pointed at the hairdressing page. The academy has campuses in Tirana on Bulevardi Gjergj Fishta and in Durrës, and states it has operated in Albania for thirteen years, building on more than forty years of experience in Greece.
The Berberi course runs a minimum of three months, with the academy noting the length depends on how quickly you progress, three times a week in either a morning or an afternoon slot. The syllabus covers scissor work, machine cutting, beard and razor work, facial cleansing, hair removal by thread and wax, tribal designs, hair and beard colouring, and professional conduct, a broader remit than most barbering courses, reflecting how the trade is practised in the region. A separate ten-month hairdressing programme runs alongside it, plus make-up, aesthetics, nails, massage and microblading.
On credentials: the academy says graduates receive documentation enabling them to work internationally, but publishes no Albanian vocational accreditation reference, so treat that as a marketing claim rather than a national qualification. Neither price nor start dates are published.
