Hollywood Institute

Hollywood Institute’s Hollywood campus, on South State Road 7, is one of four Florida locations operated by the school and does offer the Barber program. The barber curriculum is listed at 900 clock hours and covers haircutting, hairstyling, haircoloring, chemical texture services, scalp and hair treatments, beard design, straight razor shaving and hair design, together with business topics such as client rebooking, retailing and upselling. The school provides tutoring and state board reviews at no additional cost to prepare graduates for Florida licensure.

Other programs at this campus include cosmetology, taught in English and Spanish, plus full specialist, skin care, nail technology, electrology, massage therapy and several dual-discipline combinations. Hollywood Institute is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences. Students train in an on-site salon and spa serving the public, and financial aid and career services are available to those who qualify.
