Huuk Academy – School of Barbering, Kuala Lumpur

Huuk Academy in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur, is a dedicated barbering school and publishes its full course structure and prices, which is more than most Malaysian providers manage.

Four courses run. Beginner to Master costs 6,200 ringgit and combines two months of practical and theory work with a four-month internship, including tools and a certificate. A contract variant costs 1,500 ringgit for the same two months of teaching but with a twelve-month internship, with tools charged separately at 1,500, a meaningfully different deal, trading a longer commitment for a much lower upfront fee, and worth reading carefully. Alongside those, a five-day weekday Fading course runs at 3,000 ringgit and a five-day Shaving course at 2,000.

On credentials: no SKM certification under the Department of Skills Development, no JPK accreditation and no HRD Corp claimable status was found, so the award is the academy’s own. If you need an SKM for employment or visa purposes, this is not that route.
