IEK Praxis – Barber & Grooming, Athens

IEK Praxis is a licensed private vocational institute on Saripolou in Athens, with further campuses in Chalkida and Aliveri, and it appears as an active educational centre in the Greek public register. Its barbering provision is a Barber and Grooming seminar sitting within its hairdressing department, alongside a full Hairdressing Technician specialism.

We would rather be straight about the limits of what could be confirmed here. The institution itself is solidly verifiable through the public register, but the school’s server blocks automated access, so the seminar page could not be read directly, which means its duration, syllabus, price and intake dates are all unconfirmed. What is visible from elsewhere is that the school also advertises a free open-day barber seminar and a separate seminar in traditional straight-razor shaving. Treat this listing as confirmation that the institution is real and licensed, and phone the Athens campus for the seminar specifics rather than assuming them.

On Greek credentials: private training bodies are licensed either as an IEK/ΣAEK or as a KΔBM lifelong learning centre, and a published licence number is the signal worth looking for. The professional barber licence itself comes through EOPPEP examination and generally requires documented working experience alongside the qualification. A course certificate on its own is not the licence.
