Iluteeninduskool – Barber, Tallinn
Eesti Iluteeninduse Erakool runs a 360-hour men’s cutting and barbering course from Kadakatee in Tallinn, with practical work at its training salon in the Kochi Aidad complex on Lootsi. It is a registered Estonian continuing-education institution and has passed the quality assessment run by the Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education.
The course runs 12 to 14 months and breaks down as 40 hours of preliminary knowledge, 100 hours of men’s hair cutting split 30 theory to 70 practice, 20 hours of shaving and beard styling, and 200 hours of practical work, so well over half the programme is hands-on. Classes are Tuesday evenings from 16:00 to 20:30 plus weekend days from 10:00 to 16:00, taught in Estonian and Russian, with the next start in October 2026. The price is 2,090.16 euros plus VAT, or around 284 euros a month on an instalment plan, and enrolling students receive a bearded practice head, cutting scissors, a men’s comb and curets. The award is the school’s own completion certificate rather than a Kutsekoda kutsetunnistus. One caution: the school’s general course-listing page is badly out of date, still showing 2019 dates and an old price, so work from the barber course page itself.
