Instituto IAP Paraguay – Barbería, Encarnación

The Encarnación branch of the IAP chain runs a barbering course of two to four months and 32 to 64 hours across 29 classes, taught at your own pace, the same programme the group delivers across its network, which it says spans 300 academies in nine countries.

The syllabus covers razor shaving and blade technique, fades and contemporary urban styles, beard design and facial hair care, cranial designs and hair tattoo work, and barbershop management and sterilisation. Graduates receive an IAP diploma carrying a verifiable QR code.

The institute deserves credit for being unambiguous about what that diploma is worth. Its own page states the programme is formación no reglada and does not lead to an officially recognised title, no education ministry or national training body recognition, in Paraguay or anywhere else. Two practical gaps: no street address is published for the Encarnación branch, only a WhatsApp number, and the price field renders as zero, meaning the cost is not actually published. Establish both before committing.
