Instituto Innova – Barbería, Santiago

Instituto Innova runs campuses in Santiago Centro and Concepción and is the only Chilean provider in this directory claiming OTEC accreditation. It states it is accredited under the Chilean standard NCh 2728, which is what allows training to be publicly fundable. That claim is the institute’s own and we could not cross-check it against the national register, so ask for confirmation, but it is more than any other Chilean entry here offers.

The barbering course itself is short and aimed squarely at beginners: 45 hours, in person, run intensively over a few days, covering clipper cutting, classic low and mid fades, correct tool handling, brushing and styling, and basic beard grooming. The price is 250,000 pesos as a launch offer against a 300,000 regular price. Students who pass receive a notarised barbering certificate.

Note the distinction that matters: the institute claims OTEC accreditation at organisation level, but this particular course advertises only a notarised private certificate rather than a state-funded qualification. Those are different things, and worth separating before you enrol.
