INBARB teaches from three campuses, Mexico City, Chalco and Nezahualcóyotl in Estado de México, and also sells barbering products alongside its training.

One thing needs saying plainly, because the name invites the wrong conclusion. Despite calling itself the National Institute of Barbering, it holds no official standing: there is no SEP recognition, no RVOE and no CONOCER competency standard referenced anywhere on its site. It is a private academy with a grand name, and the certificate is its own. That does not make the teaching poor, but it does mean the word “Nacional” here is branding rather than status.

The published detail is thin. An online basic barbering course runs a little over three hours at 1,746 pesos. In-person courses are offered at all three campuses but no durations, syllabus or prices are published for them, and no street addresses are given, so if you want the in-person route you will need to establish all of it by phone.
