Instituto Universitario Alberto Adriani – Barbería, Caracas
This Caracas institute is recognised by Venezuela’s ministry for university education, and it teaches barbering as three progressive short courses of 30 academic hours each rather than as one long programme, so you can stop at the level that suits you.
The basic level covers the barber’s core competencies, facial anatomy, cutting styles, fades and crests. The intermediate level covers sculpting, height guides and a specific fade technique. The advanced level applies everything in combination. Each level can be completed in a single week of weekday classes from 09:00 to 15:00, or across four Saturdays. Entry is open from age fifteen with valid identification, and enrolment is done in person.
Three participation options are offered: bring your own tools, borrow equipment during practice sessions, or buy new implements on completion. A practical arrangement in a market where professional tools are a real barrier to entry. Prices are not published. Note that the institute’s recognition is institutional; these barbering courses are short courses rather than degree programmes, so do not expect a university qualification from them.
