Interior Academy

Interior Academy is a private training institution on Tranquille Road in Kamloops, British Columbia, registered and accredited with the Private Training Institutions Branch of the provincial Ministry of Post-Secondary Education.

Its barbering offering is Barbering Fundamentals Level 1, an approved course of 250 hours over 12 weeks, timetabled Monday to Wednesday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Applicants provide photo identification and meet the academy’s English language proficiency requirement, and the fee covers registration, tuition, textbooks and a kit with mannequin heads and supplies. Shorter barbering workshops are also run. The academy separately offers a Professional Hairstyling Diploma, plus medical aesthetics, nail technology, hair and makeup artistry, and lash and brow programmes. Training is delivered hands-on in the academy salon.
