KK Barber Academy

KK Barber Academy operates from Aleja Wyścigowa in the Mokotów district of Warsaw, trading as K&K Barber Company sp. z o.o. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from midday to 21:00 and Saturday from midday to 17:00.

Five products are published with prices. The beginner course, Barber from Zero, runs 24 days at 9,000 zł, moving from theory through mannequin work to live models. A two-week specialist course in trends and new techniques runs at 7,000 zł, and a three-day advanced course at 4,000 zł is restricted to barbers with at least two years’ experience. A one-day introductory course is free. A men’s hairdressing course is listed without duration or price. One correction the directory should make explicitly: the academy describes its SZOE certificate as state certification for educational institutions. It is not. SZOE is a commercial certification scheme, and no RIS number appears for this provider in the state database, where its service count currently stands at zero. Treat the award as the academy’s own certificate.

On credentials in Poland: barbering is not a regulated profession, so almost every academy issues its own certificate. Two things do carry weight, entry in the Rejestr Instytucji Szkoleniowych (RIS), which opens up publicly funded routes through Urząd Pracy, KFS and BUR, and registration as a Niepubliczna Placówka Kształcenia Ustawicznego. Be sceptical of ISO numbers presented as accreditation: ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 are management-system certifications bought privately, not educational credentials.
