Lakmé Academy, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi

Lakmé Academy’s Lajpat Nagar centre is one of two branches serving south Delhi, alongside a centre at Saket. Both deliver from the Lakmé Academy catalogue, run as a joint venture between Lakmé and Aptech, and the relevant programme is the Certificate Course in Barbering and Grooming, which runs 168 hours with entry at SSC or Class 10 pass. Both centres list Men’s Grooming Specialist among the job profiles they train towards.

The syllabus covers men’s hair and scalp care, men’s cutting including fades, layers and tapers, shaving and beard grooming, men’s colour work spanning grey coverage, fashion colour, highlighting and weaves, and texture services including frizz control. Assessment combines a written test with a practical evaluation, and the stated exit profile is Men’s Hair Stylist. Lakmé Academy lists the Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council among its course families and describes a brand-level NSDC-backed partnership, but that recognition is not published against this specific course and no NSQF level is stated. Centre pages list course families rather than individual courses, so confirm with this branch directly that the barbering course is currently running there. Fees are not published.
