Major Fade

Major Fade is a barbering operation in Markham, Ontario, working out of a shop on Highway 7, with service days given as Tuesday through Saturday. Alongside cutting clients, the business advertises instruction, offering barbering classes either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, with the teaching focused on fading technique.

The training is presented as short-form skills coaching rather than a full diploma programme. No programme length, curriculum outline or admission requirements are published, and there is no indication that the business is registered as a career college under Ontario’s Career Colleges Act or that its classes count towards the hairstylist apprenticeship or certificate of qualification. The business has also indicated a move from its original location, so contact the shop directly to confirm current class formats, scheduling and where teaching takes place.
