Marca College of Hairdressing and Esthetics

Marca College of Hairdressing and Esthetics operates a Mississauga campus at Rockwood Mall on Dixie Road, one of several Ontario locations that also include Toronto, Brampton and Hamilton. The college describes itself as a registered private career college under Ontario’s career colleges legislation, and as a private vocational institution without degree-granting status.

A barbering diploma programme is offered at the Mississauga campus. Its curriculum covers hair fundamentals, guest services, hair colour, perm waving, beard and shave work, client care and shop management, with practical hours worked in a student barbershop, and the college runs monthly barbering demonstrations with a supplier artistic team. A separate hairstyling diploma is also available, listed at roughly 42 to 79 weeks depending on delivery format. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered, and instruction draws on Pivot Point, L’Oreal Professionnel, Matrix and Dermalogica curricula.
