MMG Barbers Academy, Bratislava

MMG Barbers Academy is the strongest barbering credential in Slovakia and one of the few anywhere in central Europe that pairs private teaching with a public institution. Its flagship programme is state-accredited under confirmation number POA:3273/2017/142/1 and is delivered in partnership with the Secondary Vocational School of Hairdressing and Make-up on Svätoplukova in Bratislava, so students train in a proper vocational school environment.

The Intensive Barber Course runs 350 hours at 2,500 euros, taught by the academy’s lead instructor, and graduates receive a certificate of completion of an accredited educational programme, a state-recognised document rather than an in-house one. Alongside it run shorter intensive trainings, bespoke individual sessions, and guest-instructor workshops with international barbers; recent workshops on long hair and on classic shaving and trimming both sold out. The academy states it has trained more than 200 barbers since 2018. One practical note: the next 350-hour cohort is currently shown as in preparation rather than dated, so confirm the start before planning around it.
