Mooza Akademija – Barberių kursas, Kaunas

A location correction first: Mooza Akademija is based on A. Juozapavičiaus prospektas in Kaunas with a branch in Klaipėda, not Vilnius as older directory data recorded, though it does run a separate barber course with a guest tutor in Vilnius.

The beginner barber course runs five weeks across twelve contact sessions, two to three times a week from 14:00 to 19:00. The price is 1,450 euros paid in full, advertised as reduced from 2,600, or an instalment plan of 1,000 euros down plus 200 a month for three months. Content covers all types of men’s haircuts, beard modelling, tools and products and hair structure analysis, alongside social media development, client psychology, photography basics and image creation, a broader commercial grounding than most courses at this length. Tools are provided during training, graduates receive a certificate and wholesale purchasing status, and placements at partner salons are offered. One caveat: the academy refers to an accredited school diploma, but no state registration could be found for it, so treat the certificate as an in-house award.

One point applies across all five Lithuanian providers here: none of them appears in the state register of vocational training programmes, and none is funded through the employment service. Every certificate in this market is the academy’s own. That is not unusual for barbering in Lithuania, the trade is entered through private training and shop-floor experience, but it does mean you should judge these on the teaching and the price rather than on any implied official standing.
