No Grease School of Tonsorial Arts

No Grease School of Tonsorial Arts is a barbering school in Charlotte, North Carolina, operating from a roughly 4,200-square-foot campus on North Sharon Amity Road near downtown. The school is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Barber and Electrolysis Examiners, which lists it as No Grease Barber School, and its catalog names the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences as its accreditor.

Barbering is the only program offered, and it requires 1,528 clock hours. Students may enroll full time, Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Saturday mornings, or part time on a shortened weekday schedule, with completion typically taking 12 to 18 months. The school states its purpose as preparing students to pass the state licensing examination and find work in barbering, and it adds business coursework, academic advising and job placement assistance. New classes begin monthly.
