North Adrian's College of Beauty

North Adrian’s College of Beauty is the Modesto campus of Adrian’s College, on Floyd Avenue, with a sister campus in Tracy. The school appears on the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology approved school list and is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences. It also reports approval from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.

Barbering is offered alongside cosmetology, esthetics and manicuring. The school lists barbering in 1,000-hour and 1,500-hour versions and cosmetology on the same two hour options, with esthetics at 600 hours and manicuring at 400 hours; a barber crossover course is available to licensed cosmetologists. Instruction is aimed at passing the California state board examination as well as at practical shop and salon work. The Modesto campus runs an evening program in addition to daytime classes, a schedule not offered in Tracy. Both campuses operate student clinics serving the public.
