Paul Mitchell The School Chicago is on South Halsted Street, near the University of Illinois Chicago campus. Its barbering program is listed at 1,500 clock hours and is organized in three stages: a core phase of theory and mannequin work, an adaptive phase working on live models on a clinic floor, and a creative phase in which students work more independently, build speed and prepare for the state board licensing examination.
